RAİF DİNÇKÖK CULTURAL CENTER

Raif Dinçkök Cultural Center (RDKM) was constructed by the Akkök Group of Companies, which has been operating in Yalova since 1969, with the aim of providing Yalova with a cultural center. Initiated based on the recognition of Yalova residents’ need for a central, aesthetic, and functional space where both local artists and thinkers, as well as international guests from outside Yalova, could present their events, the RDKM Project was designed by Emre Arolat Architecture Studio.

On the plot allocated by Yalova Municipality to the Akkök Group, the foundation of the cultural center, named after the late founder of the Group, Raif Dinçkök, was laid on February 14, 2008, in a ceremony attended by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Ertuğrul Günay, and was opened on May 12, 2011, in a ceremony with the participation of the Prime Minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

You can explore the project details and architectural features of the building in the RDKM Brochure.
