The world-renowned Italian restaurant Paper Moon, following its establishments in Milan and New York, opened its doors to guests at Akmerkez in 1996. Operated under the professional management philosophy of Akmerkez Catering, Paper Moon offers delicately prepared flavors of Italian cuisine in a comfortable setting with a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
Managed by Italian Chef Giuseppe Pressani and his professional team, the restaurant quickly became one of Istanbul’s prestigious food and beverage sector brands, turning into a city classic. Aiming to achieve the highest possible standards in food and service quality, the restaurant is subjected to the supervision of Italian consultant Paolo Lattanzi four times a year, for a two-week period, along with all its staff.
With its elegant interior design and professional lighting, Paper Moon offers a tranquil environment away from the city’s hustle and bustle, earning awards in several categories for these features. The restaurant’s meticulous approach was recognized with the “Interior Design” award by Restaurants and Institutions-New York in 1997 and the “Interior Lighting” award by Lumens-New York in 1998.
