Born in Istanbul in 1978, Melis Çiftçi completed her high school education at Özel Işık High School in 1996 and continued her university studies in Boston. She graduated from Mount Ida College with a degree in Business Administration in 2000 and began her professional career at Ak-Pa Textile Export Marketing Inc. Melis Çiftçi serves on the Board of Directors of Akkök Holding Inc., as well as on the boards of various group companies.
