Dr. Arg\u00fcden is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AR-GE Dan\u0131\u015fmanl\u0131k, known globally for its efforts to prepare companies for the future, the creative and innovative management strategies it has developed, and its social contributions. In addition to being the Chairman of the Rothschild & Co investment bank in T\u00fcrkiye, he has served on the boards of more than 70 companies in various countries throughout his career. Having started his career at the Ko\u00e7 Holding R&D Center, Dr. Arg\u00fcden later worked as a Strategic Analysis Specialist at The RAND Corporation. He worked with 20 countries in the World Bank Credits Department, where he assumed the position of Section Manager. Carrying out the responsibility of the Privatization Program between 1988-1990, Dr. Arg\u00fcden served as the Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister on the economy in 1991. Initiating the National Quality Movement during his KalDer Presidency, Dr. Arg\u00fcden was elected as the World President of National Networks and served on the UN Global Compact Board of Directors, the world\u2019s most widespread sustainability platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Known around the world for his work on boards of directors and governance, and whose books and articles are published in many languages, Dr. Arg\u00fcden is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Arg\u00fcden Y\u00f6neti\u015fim Akademisi. He also assumed international duties such as the Chairman of the Business at OECD Governance Committee and a member of the IFC Corporate Governance Group Advisory Board. Having completed Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University by winning the Rector\u2019s Award for both academic first place and student leadership, and winning the Turkish Basketball Championship three years in a row as the playmaker in the Tarsus American College and Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University basketball teams, Dr. Arg\u00fcden also served as the Vice-President of the Turkish Basketball Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has given lectures on strategy, governance and sustainability at Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University, Ko\u00e7 University and War Academies.
