As Akk\u00f6k Holding Joint Stock Company (\u201cAkk\u00f6k\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d), we exhibit the utmost diligence in ensuring the security and confidentiality of your personal data. In this regard, acting as a data controller under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (\u201cthe Law\u201d), we hereby inform you of the following matters within the scope of our obligation to enlighten in order to act in accordance with the Law regarding the personal data we obtain.<\/p>\n

2. Purposes for Processing Personal Data<\/b><\/p>\n

Although varying depending on the services provided by Akk\u00f6k or related commercial activities, your personal data are processed for purposes limited to determining and implementing the commercial and operational strategies of our Company, conducting and improving our Company\u2019s activities and business processes, meeting demands, fulfilling our legal obligations, conducting Company audits, investigations, reporting, internal control, and audit activities, ensuring compliance with legislation and our Company\u2019s policies and procedures, ensuring information and data security, maintaining the continuity of information systems, organizing training, seminars, and events, recording camera footage for security purposes when our Company is visited, and conducting necessary registration processes for visitor entries and exits, and keeping log records electronically as required by law number 5651 when connected to our Company\u2019s internet network. Identity (which may indirectly include religion and health data from identity or license copies), contact, and visual data, along with your digital footprint data, may be processed. Additionally, your personal data may be transferred to physical archives and information systems of Akk\u00f6k or Akk\u00f6k group companies, being kept in both digital and physical environments.<\/p>\n

3. Transfer of Personal Data<\/b><\/p>\n

Your personal data, for the purposes outlined in section 2 of this Information Text, can be transferred to official institutions such as law enforcement upon request, relevant Akk\u00f6k group companies benefiting from our services, and information technology service providers abroad, audit companies, etc., in cooperation with us, limited to the reason requiring the transfer and thus restrictedly; within the scope of the Law and related regulations.<\/p>\n

4. Method and Legal Reason for Collecting Personal Data<\/b><\/p>\n

Your personal data are collected for the purposes mentioned above, in accordance with the fundamental principles stipulated by the Law and limited to the legal reasons of the necessity provided for by the laws, the legal obligation of the data controller, and the legitimate interest of our Company without harming the fundamental rights and freedoms of the related person; through information directly conveyed by you verbally or in writing, from your identity document provided by you, via closed-circuit camera recording systems located in our Company, by automatic or non-automatic methods.<\/p>\n

5. Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data<\/b><\/p>\n

Under the Law, you have the right to inquire if your personal data are processed, request information if your personal data have been processed, understand the processing purpose of your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose, know the third parties to whom your personal data are transferred domestically or abroad, request correction if your personal data are processed incompletely or inaccurately, request deletion or destruction of your personal data, request notification of the third parties to whom the corrections, deletions, or destructions have been made, object to any result that is to your detriment due to analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems, and demand compensation for damages in case of loss due to unlawful processing of your personal data. Under the Law, you can submit your requests regarding your personal data through the Data Owner Application Form by using one of the channels specified below;<\/p>\n

By ensuring your identity is verified, through other methods specified in the Law and related legislation.<\/p>\n

Our Company will conclude the application requests in accordance with Article 13 of the Law, based on the nature of the request and within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days. If the procedure requires a cost, the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be applied. In case of a refusal, the reason(s) for refusal will be justified in writing or electronically.
