TRANSFORMATION OF ALMAN DERES\u0130 PARK<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Akk\u00f6k Holding has initiated a public space transformation project on the Alman Deresi walking trail, one of the most visited parks in Be\u015fikta\u015f. The project, carried out in collaboration with the Be\u015fikta\u015f Municipality and the Onaranlar Club, has completely renovated the basketball court and its surroundings in the park. The transformed spaces were opened to the service of Istanbul residents with an inauguration ceremony and events.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the project conducted with the aim of giving the park a distinctive identity, urban furniture designs and field ground applications were utilized. In this context, the basketball court’s surface in the park was adorned with a “dialogue”-themed story using illustration techniques. The main story, designed to begin on the ground and spill over various surfaces with doodles and stains, weaves through the space. Next to the basketball court, urban furniture was designed in line with the main story, approaching the theme of people’s interactions with each other and the space through movement, rest, observation, creativity, and play.
